Book Review: For a Few Demons More (Rachel Morgan #5) by Kim Harrison

Sumamry:
Despite dating one vampire and living with another, Rachel Morgan has always managed to stay just ahead of trouble... until now.

Morgan's already complicated personal life -- living in an old church in the Hollows of Cincinnati with vampire Ivy Tamwood and a pixie named Jenks -- turns downright chaotic when an insane demon inexplicably ransacks her home, a mysterious murderer begins a brutal killing spree, and her best friend, Ivy, suddenly packs up and moves out.

After vampiric crime boss Piscary and villainous councilman Trent Kalamack learn about a demon-crafted artifact in Morgan's possession, she becomes the unwilling focus of an otherworldly power struggle that will change her forever.

For every action has its price, and when the demonic Algaliarept dares to walk openly under the sun, even Rachel Morgan can't hide forever.

Review:
Another great installment in the Rachel Morgan series. This series has vampires, witches, pixies, fairies, demons, and more supernatural creatures. I've noticed that the books are getting steamier as the series progresses....definitely NOT for teens.  This was a fast read for me because I found the plot to be really gripping, more so than previous books in this series.  I think Harrison is getting better and better as the series progresses.

Just One Gripe:
I hate the covers---why is Rachel always in such skanky looking black leather dresses? In the books her only leather items are pants and jackets.

The Best Thing About This Book:
Rachel and Kisten's relationship.

Appropriate for a younger audience:
No
